What is Kids Co. All About?

Kids Company is the name we give to our children's ministry.  It encompasses everything from Sunday School to Sunday morning Children's Church to Wednesday night's "Elevate" ministry.  Plus, special events like Kidz Blitz, VBS, and more.  At First Baptist Church, we are committed to providing the very best worship and learning experiences for children and their parents. Kids Co. is designed to help all kids grow, learn and develop into the persons God intends for each to be.

Contact our church office to find out more information.  Talk to Associate Pastor of Family Ministries, Brandon Bryant about upcoming opportunities.

Elevate is the award-winning children's ministry that teaches kids the principles of right living in a fun environment.  This ministry meets in our Children's Theater on Wednesday nights @ 6 p.m.  Your kids will love ELEVATE!

    Wednesday Nights

Soon, kids will have their own special meeting that will run at the same time adults are in Wonderful Wednesdays and Youth are in The ROCK in the upper room.  We will make sure you know about this when it is ready to launch.

    Children's Theater

Plans are being finalized for the 3rd floor of our east Wing to become the Children's Theater - a place where large group children's shows are held each week and kids then break into small groups to talk about the lessons they learn from the show.

Kidz Blitz Live & Parent Blitz Live

We had such a great response to our April Kidz Blitz Live event that we plan to make it an annual thing!  Watch our website and the message board sign in our parking lot for info on the next event!

Can children be baptized?  Yes, but only if they have come to a place where they have repented of their sins and received Jesus as their own personal Lord and Savior.  Baptism is not for washing away "original sin" but for professing faith in the Lord Jesus. Only those children who have been saved can legitimately profess him through baptism.
